Just a Quick Check-In

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend. I feel like I spent half of it doing laundry as our washing machine went kaput last month and we had to wait several weeks to get a new one. Other than that, not much to report. I did start State of Terror by Hillary Rodham Clinton and Louise Penny. I typically don’t read political thrillers but this one is quite a page-turner and I’m really enjoying it. I have so many questions about how the writing process must have been like but I’m going to wait to look into that after […]

Checking Out

We’re welcoming the month with very cold temps and icy conditions but luckily my husband and I worked from home. Granted all day yesterday I’ve been hearing the cracking and breaking of tree branches. We’ve lost some but luckily so far have avoided any major damages. I feel so bad for so many in our city who are without power or have a lot of damages. I remember the experience we had a couple of years ago when we were without power and water for a week!
